 411 1

1959 Unimog 411 hard top from Germany fitted with air brakes.

 2010 2

1952 Unimog 2010 ex-Swiss Army, in original condition.

It came complete with shovel, pick axe, bottle jack, jerry can, spanners,
spare bulbs, ropes, snow chains, warning triangle and even the original user
hand book, in Swiss of course [Probably in German - Ed].

 2010 3 REAR 4

Note rear PTO driven winch, Swiss style towing jaw, and wheel chock.

 ENGINE BAY 5 PARADE 6

Rear of the engine bay has added sound proofing - it doesn't work. The left side
of the bay has two cans, one marked for petrol the other for "OEL" - I have no idea
what that is (Oil - Ed). On right side is an oil can on front of the air breather.

St Patrick's Day 1999. Locals showed a great interest in the Unimog.
All vehicles here are right hand drive so it is unusual simply being left hand drive.

 NOSEY 7 NOSEY 8

The 2010 differs very little from the 411. The front step is behind the wheel not on it,
and the wheels are narrower. It doesn't have telescopic dampers - I'm not sure
what this system is called [Lever arm shock absorbers - Ed]. It does not have
the Mercedes star on the front and the engine is only 25 hp.
